Edible Gelatin

Leaf Gelatin, also called Sheet Gelatin, it is takes the shape of thin sheets or leaves of gelatin film. The sheets dissolve more slowly than the granulated form, but also produce a clearer gelled product. 

Professional cooks often use sheet/leaf gelatin because it makes a clearer gelatin with purer flavor. Many chefs also prefer sheets for ease of use. They allow for the counting of leaves rather than weighing out powder and there is no chance of undissolved granules.

Paintballing is a very popular sport all over the world, paintballs are the ammunition used in the paintball gun.

Paintballs are spherical gelatin capsules containing primarily polyethylene glycol, other non-toxic and water-soluble substances, and dye. The quality of paintballs is dependent on the brittleness of the ball's shell, the roundness of the sphere, and the thickness of the fill; higher-quality balls are almost perfectly spherical, with a very thin shell to guarantee breaking upon impact, and a thick, brightly colored fill that is difficult to hide or wipe off during the game.

Choosing the correct gelatin is the key of manufacturing paintballs.
